Memo Board

This old memo board needed a revamp
in order to come out from hiding in storage:

I popped off the buttons and the teethy wall brackets,
but saved the brackets to put back on in the end:

I picked up some fabric from Hobby Lobby (30% off)
and cut the fabric 1 1/2 inches larger than the memo board:

Then, folded the fabric around the edges and stapled down with a staple gun.

Here is how it looked before the ribbon:

brown ribbon from Hobby Lobby (50 cent roll)
stapled it to the back, just like the fabric
and glued a little bow in the middle ...
Finally, I hung it on the wall using the old brackets:
